Oh My Gosh 017

Particularly from my sisters, I have been told that I should do more of my sleeping at night, which demonstrates why I am so tired in the afternoon…

The sound of interstellar space is actually kind of terrifying
Voyager 1 has left the solar system, and this time – this timeNASA says it’s official. To be honest, after so many months of ambiguity, we found ourselves a little underwhelmed. But that was before we heard Voyager’s recordings of interstellar space. Seriously, these will give you chills.”

To continue the theme of musical anime from last week,
you will never find anything else as awesome. Never.

it’s Rock ‘n Roll to Me

In Egocentric Universe: Whirlwind weekend 013, I had gone to see EverclearLiveFilterSponge at Summerland Tour 2013, and 101 the Fox – Kansas City’s Classic Rock Station had given away tickets for Déjà Vu (feat. tribute bands) at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater on September 7, 2013, which is tonight.

Music video by Billy Joel performing ‘It’s Still Rock And Roll To Me

While I have six tickets, I really do not want to pay for parking, when I would rather impulsively spend to satisfy my palate rather than my digestive system, which may often deplete financial resources almost as soon as they are acquired.

I heard that on the radio yesterday, yet I can’t remember on what station, and I was sure that Cobain was only singing, “Mary,” which is odd because I was en route to Loose Park to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Anime Club president, who shares the name.

“4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,
5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness,
but according to his own mercy,
by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs
according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:4-7)”

The funk soul Brother

While he continues to seek enlightenment for his personal improv, which likely occurs in a chamber for elastic time, John this Saturday has shows in Omaha, “The cast of A&E’s ‘Duck Dynasty‘ is about to get a little more religious, but a significantly less bearded.”

Walk of Life

I somehow feel the need to disambiguate the title of this post, En route to our show at the Underground Theater in Lawrence on Friday night, David drove and played a collection greatest hits from Dire Straits, among the songs was Walk of Life, which is not to be confused with the local Walk for Life.

Money for Nothing (song)Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
“‘Money for Nothing’ is a single by British rock band Dire Straits, taken from their 1985 album Brothers in Arms. It was one of Dire Straits’ most successful singles, peaking at number one for three weeks in the United States, and it also reached number one for three weeks on the U.S. Mainstream Rock …”

I have been ill today, so I will spare you those details, and remind you to set your clocks back.

Everything is still the Same

Back in my day, KUDL was in the middle of the FM band, they pronounced the name, “Cuddle,” and played light rock music. Many of those songs remain with me to this day; I would sometimes listen all night long to just calm myself to sleep; today electronic dance music on Pandora is really quite soothing to me. Once only on the AM band, KMBZ now broadcasts on that frequency, where I every weekday morning hear Kansas City’s Morning News.

Happy Fifth Birthday To Hatsune Miku!
Hatsune Miku gets her name from combining Hatsu (初, first), Ne (音, sound), and Miku (ミク, future) . The cute synthesized voice software package, created by sampling Saki Fujita’s singing, was the first Japanese Vocaloid2 in the Vocaloid2 Character Vocal Series, released August 31, 2007.”

I would like to say, “The girl is like a sunburn,” yet I have no experiences with either virtual women, or Japanese women, or virtual Japanese women. And inclined towards pessimism, I do not even try dating, so I often feel a sense of personal isolation from others, “Everything is still the same.”

Peak of success: 1976–1987 – Bob Seger – Wikipedia
“Seger finally achieved his commercial breakthrough with his October 1976 album Night Moves. The title song ‘Night Moves’ was a highly evocative, nostalgic, time-spanning tale that was not only critically praised, but became a #4 hit single on the Billboard pop singles chart as well as …”

Wikipedia, if I truly wanted to know about Bob Seger in depth, then I should have taken some time to ask David Rushing, the free encyclopedia of Classic rock. Instead of the shows at the Ecumenical Christian Ministries building in Lawrence on Friday, August 31, I had planned to be at the Uptown Arts Bar to experience the jazz of MBIRD, “many of us saw a good, soaking rain from the remnants of Hurricane Isaac on Friday,” so I remained at the home of Denton; he, Hannah, Joshuaa and I played Nintendo-branded Monopoly that Josh brought, and had more fun than Rush Limbaugh on the EIB Network.
