A page on Facebook, Pony Express, shared a colorized version of an image, so I manually searched my blog to properly credit the artist (PixelKitties began following me on Twitter that same day, hm).
My friend Travis has a daughter with special needs (who was not among us), works WalMart and another job, and has been talking up today for two months, which had better be made something memorable. Some time ago, Travis reintroduced our social group to Magic: The Gathering so visiting Spanky’s Card Shop and Vintage Stock was part of the agenda. Three weeks ago, Josh suggested The Boardroom – a Boardgame Pub so we finally went Saturday. Jennifer, Chloe, Vanessa and Rachel made our visit memorable.

“Los Angeles has second-worst TV rating in history for a market with a team in Super Bowl,” while I was meeting Scott and Josh at Denny’s to play Magic: The Gathering; we watched anyway.
“It is just getting to the point where we are not getting much play when Scott destroys us so quickly,” observed Travis, last week.
Later, on Monday, Scott played some low and mid-tier decks and Travis won. Scott had played the deck on Sunday and Josh was receptive to learn its mechanics; however, I was too indignant.

and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
“The one with the sharpest fangs wins,” she kicked like a mule and bit like a crocodile, “That’s what KILLING BITES is,” so Bennigan and I were reminded, sometimes twice in an episode yesterday.
“And I am sure of this, (Philippians 1:6)
that he who began a good work in you will
bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

I would rather be unconscious and offline, “How to Watch Super Bowl 2019 Online,” or meeting friends at Denny’s to play Magic: The Gathering; that second one
“Better is the end of a thing than its beginning,
and the patient in spirit is better

“It is just getting to the point where we are not getting much out of the play when he destroys us so quickly,” observed Travis.

“Extreme weather is so bad in some parts of the country, even the US Postal Service won’t be going out: Postal Service says Kansas City’s mail delivery will be normal Wednesday”

being Lord of heaven and earth
does not live in temples made by man,
nor is he served by human hands,

since he himself gives to all mankind
life and breath and everything.”

The point was made by the host of Laser Rangers on Saturday, saying:
“Well, someone who I won’t name forgot to bring the scheduled movies for the month. So we wound up with a couple of random picks:
- ‘The House with the Clock in its Walls’, a children’s fantasy set in the 1950s, starring Jack Black and Cate Blanchett
- ‘The Secret War of Harry Frigg’ (1968), a Paul Newman WW II comedy about a recalcitrant, recidivist draftee Private with a remarkable penchant for escaping the stockade, who is assigned the task of enabling the escape of 5 generals being held prisoner by the Italians.
I enjoyed both of them quite a bit. Too bad we didn’t have ‘Harry Frigg’ to show last year instead of the distinctly inferior ‘What Did You Do in the War, Daddy?’”
“‘The LORD will fight for you, (Exodus 14:14)
and you have only to be silent.’”

“First we’re going to Twin Peaks,” I stated our itinerary matter-of-factly, “and then we’re going to Spanky’s (Card Shop),” which Josh found unintentionally hilarious; I seem to be when I am not really trying. After Laser Rangers, I met Scott and Josh to play Magic: The Gathering, Josh and I found some more cards and later optimized my two decks while we watched ‘Rick and Morty’ Sunday.
Much time has passed since I last played ‘Magic: The Gathering,’ yet my friend Travis has an interest in learning the game, so elder statesman Scott has been teaching him; we all met up after I gave a ride to another friend to the bus station downtown, and hung out with Josh. We were at the restaurant a little later than usual and attracted attention from some fellow players, who just might join us in a couple weeks.

“And the angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.’ (Luke 2:10-12)”
Sure, I could have watched Netflix any time, yet I stayed up to watch a rebroadcast of the conclusion of Star Trek: Voyager on BBC America, so I got no time today.
I recommend buying a pre-made commander deck, especially from the 2016 block. Cheap, and it walks you through deck building.
