A meeting raised the specter of required overtime,
and I had plans Saturday.
To use a facsimile machine stresses me, I had to provide documentation,
and need to reapply for my income-based repayment plan which is renewed annually.
Perhaps, I can be pitied for having no desire to do these things until I must.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:43-45)”
“What about you,” she said to me condescendingly, “you’re supposed to be a computer person (a person knowledgeable about computers).”
“I have two associate degrees in Information Technology,” I replied, “but that doesn’t mean I know anything,” or know how to explain or have the patience, which a former colleague noted fifteen years ago.
Seriously, the page for printable account information does not print properly; amounts on the right side do not print. The person who needed documentation suggested I capture the image from the screen and attach in an email. On my chart, Mercury is in Virgo.

“Tuesday night we had:
- The first transgender state representative ever elected anywhere: Danica Roem of VA who, it should be noted, beat the dude who pushed VA’s transgender bathroom bill.
- The nation’s first Sikh Mayor (Hoboken, NJ)
- Former mayor of St. Petersburg unexpectedly failed in a comeback bid
- Seattle electing an openly lesbian mayor
- Maine expanding Medicaid via ballot initiative
- In New Hampshire’s largest city, Joyce Craig is the first Democrat elected mayor in 14 years.
- Fayetteville, NC electing its first black woman mayor
- In Georgia, Democrats picked up three seats in the state legislature
- St. Paul, MN, electing its first black mayor
- Minneapolis electing its first transgender council member (also: black)
- Phil Murphy, a former banker, and first-time candidate won the New Jersey governor’s race by 13 points over Chris Christie’s lieutenant governor.
- Virginia’s General Assembly has a well-earned reputation as an old boy’s club, but the composition of the body changed big last night: All 14 of the seats that flipped are held by men. Ten of their replacements will be women.
Not bad, America … not bad. I hate to say but maybe Donald J. Trump is making America great again …”

Thursday night, the loss visibly affected my colleagues, yet I could tell what she said was said in jest, so I would later seize the opportunity to extract some humor from her remark; this night would be a win, for me, at least.
“I’ve never bet my decision to leave a job on the outcome of any sporting competition, but Sporting (Sporting Kansas City) hasn’t been a team for long either,” and I drummed on the desk to mimic a rimshot.

“It’s been a long time, been a long time,” since any post in this series. My father found a listing for the flux capacitor on O’Reilly Auto Parts, so I started to look through some shortcuts I had saved ten years ago to find a different site than BTTF.com.

If one was to look back to October 2014, one would see many gaps, many days where I publish no post on my blog. These can be explained that I was working many hours those days and was not able to publish before the day was over. This was also the case Sunday when I was out with a friend, and yesterday when I was again social after a bad day at work.
