The End in Friend

Except ‘liking’ something I have shared on Facebook, I have not heard a friend in ten days or almost two weeks since “Whirlwind weekend 046,” or “An offer that I cannot refuse 038,” where I’m not saying my friend was causing me to feel miserable, but rather I was alluding to diabetic symptoms and their impact on my performance at work.

I’m afraid you’re just too darn Loud

As Wednesday became Thursday, I commented on someone’s post in a way that was a bit too sarcastic and I shared an item I was just going to make everyone too sad, so I deleted both of those, yet sometimes things have to be said at least on Facebook where I have the smallest audience and my posts are not globally viewable.

celebrating the opening of a new facility, and there’s even a quota on the refreshments, two cookies per person, yet no quota on the noise and people are greeting each other as if they don’t see each other every day at work, and I have to be 14 feet from receiving line, so my day is just great, or at least has been for the last 45 minutes 😡

Game of Thrones

One of them might have been Bill Nighy, Laser Rangers is watching the first half of the seventh season of Game of Thrones tonight, and I scheduled new tires to be installed today.

Whirlwind weekend 034

While I didn’t go to Laser Rangers, I did visit two friends yesterday, and I avoided live drama on Facebook with my timing; staircase wit in a moment.

Sure, I have an errand or two to run, but daylight saving time makes everyone in this great nation hung over, so I needed another hour to sleep this morning, which wasn’t helped by my sister doing laundry. I wash nothing on Saturday or Sunday to comply with her rules, and I get noise because she doesn’t work Monday this week.

A friend made an innocuous status about the limited availability of the Switch at launch, which I thought would be better with rhyme, and we met Gerald Broflovski from the most recent season of South Park, and Gerald’s a chick.

Roving Imp Coffee House, few remember it ever existed at all, was where I made acquiescence with a kind and thinking man. More than what was said, I remember his face and the experience of talking with him in 2010. We became friends on Facebook, and I always like the pictures of western Kansas he shared.

‘Tis the Season for Soliloquy

‘To copy and paste to share,’ I try to not make a habit. When I do, I am sometimes unfriended the next day by someone who praised me for doing so. Please feel to guess with which of these I agree: Cadence!

“I like having health insurance, so I took two minutes to call.
Speaker Paul Ryan is indeed holding a phone vote on whether we should keep Obamacare, and I called and voted my support for the ACA. Real political results come from writing, calling, and nagging our legislators, and I encourage you to call and vote! This took me under 2 minutes.

Millions of Americans rely on Obamacare for health insurance. House Speaker Paul Ryan is currently conducting a phone survey on who supports the ACA (Obamacare). You don’t have to speak directly to anyone, just call, and after the recorded message, press a number to indicate your support of ACA. Let’s flood the survey with support.

Call (202) 225-3031 or (202) 225-0600.

Stay on if you get dead air. It takes around 90 seconds to connect to survey. Once it picks up, follow the prompts. If your call isn’t answered at first or it goes directly to the recording of ‘mailbox is full,’ wait 15 seconds and then try again. You will have to listen to a short message (<1 min) about the Speaker’s views on Obamacare before you vote.

Also, if you want to share this information, please copy & paste – do NOT share. Only mutual friends see a ‘share.’

‘I listened as they called the President a Muslim.

I listened as they called him and his family a pack of monkeys.

I listened as they said he wasn’t born here.

I watched as they blocked every single path to progress that they could.

I saw the pictures of him as Hitler and Satan.

I watched them shut down the government and hurt the entire nation twice.

I watched them turn their backs on every opportunity to open worthwhile dialog.

I watched them say that they would not even listen to any choice for Supreme Court no matter who the nominee was.

I listened as they openly said that they will oppose him at every turn.

I watched as they did just that.

I listened.

I watched.

I paid attention.

Now, I’m being called on to be tolerant.

To move forward.

To denounce protesters.

To ‘Get over it.’

To accept this…

I will not.

I will do my part to make sure this great American mistake becomes the embarrassing footnote of our history that it deserves to be.

I will do this as quickly as possible every chance I get.

I will do my part to limit the damage that this man can do to my country.

I will watch his every move and point out every single mistake and misdeed in a loud and proud voice.

I will let you know in a loud voice every time this man backs away from a promise he made to them.

Them. The people who voted for him.

The ones who sold their souls and prayed for him to win.

I will do this so that they never forget.

And they will hear me.

They will see it in my eyes when I look at them.

They will hear it in my voice when I talk to them.

They will know that I know who they are.

They will know that I know what they are.

Do not call for my tolerance. I’ve tolerated all I can.

Now it’s their turn to tolerate ridicule.

Be aware, make no mistake about it, every single thing that goes wrong in our country from this day

forward is now Trump’s fault just as much as they thought it was Obama’s.

‘Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God,
that you believe in him whom he has sent.” (John 6:29)’

“I keep seeing people post on how they are terrified, or scared? Well.. what are you scared of exactly? War? Because that’s happening. School shootings? Because that’s happening. Pipeline? That’s been happening. Terrorism? Definitely alive and well. Going broke due to health insurance? Mm yes. Corruption throughout the system? Already there. Police officers being murdered? Yep, that’s happening. Bullying? Check. Loss of jobs? We’ve got that on lock. A tanking economy. Yep. Being discriminated against for your religion, political views, sexual orientation, race? That’s been going on. Rape, murder, violence, riots.. all going on and has been.

So tell me, what are you scared of that is not already happening basically everywhere? This isn’t a Trump problem, this is a people problem. Y’all need to reevaluate your own selves..

Maybe America is a little too scared and a little too easily offended.

Quit being scared, crying around, offended by everything.. step up and do your part as an American, no, as a damn human being. Treat others with respect, help and encourage one another, raise your kids right, be a contributing member of society. Make sure your hands are clean, that’s your job. Burning the American flag? Get out of here with that, how about you do your job to make it a better place.

But right now, all I see is hate. It’s disturbing, and the ones with the most hate are being exactly what they claim to be against.

Copy and paste if you agree… this is common sense to me!”
