Give it away, Give it away, Give it away

Actually, I’ve never read “How to Write an Apology (and Avoid Non-Apologies),”
so I continue, “Secrets and Pies,” like McDonald’s or homemade?

and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”

MBH – my brain hurts 036

Day after day, I’m more confused,” and Being Scott Malkinson requires appointments to follow up with the semiannual blood tests.

The results were far from “Whirlwind weekend 008,” and I dispute gaining twenty pounds; I observed a difference of fifteen pounds later in the day. I am actually going to exercise daily, some day soon. I have resumed supplements to lower cholesterol.

“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, (1 Corinthians 15:58)
knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:9-10)”

As perfect a Thursday 053

Now, I’ve written a time or two about Being Scott Malkinson, for which I thought I had to have another appointment to get my prescriptions refilled, but this is not the case and the experience at the Walmart Pharmacy turned today around.

Yesterday, a colleague at work lost a sibling (something I understand well), and her absence at lunch led to a discussion about loss. We explored grief and reminisced about a film by Seth MacFarlane, ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West

“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice;
let them ever sing for joy, (Psalms 5:11-12)
and spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may exult in you.
For you bless the righteous, O LORD;
you cover him with favor as with a shield.”

Friday Night Lights the Hurt Locker

“This isn’t hanging out. This isn’t at all what I imagined.”

I wanna run through the halls of my high school,”
and it’s not what I dreamed.

Drumline and matching band complete National Anthem, School Fight Song, and North Anthem and take their position to welcome our home team to the field.

“This isn’t what I wished for. This isn’t what I hoped.”

Not a good start, one of our players was injured, East Lancers are up 14, their band just played “The Imperial March,” and they just ran half the field for a third touchdown and extra point!?

This Word of the Day from – atonement – satisfaction or reparation for a wrong or injury – – ain’t what I expected at all.

7 minutes left in the second quarter and the Shawnee Mission East Lancers were up 42 points to zero.

“The fear of the LORD is instruction in wisdom,
and humility comes before honor. (Proverbs 15:33)”

“No! I waited all my life…
…for this moment. And I’m not going to…
…let it slip by. If it’s the last thing I do…
…I’m gonna make this… …the best night ever!”

I went to Arby’s where everybody knows my name; a meet-and-greet is at The Homesteader Cafe in the River Market tonight at 7.

Postscript to Experiment 653

“As you can tell, I’ve already written to my blog for the day,” which can be good, bad, mediocre, or unnecessary, “so I’m going to bed fairly soon,” I entreated my friend, “which means I could wake up somewhat early if you had errands to run or something.”

The Never-ending pasta bowl at Olive Garden was something we had not done in a year, I’d looked; howeverBeing Scott Malkinson, later in the night my eyes are watery and I sneezed more than usual.

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:37-39)”

The grass withers and the flower falls, (1 Peter 1:24-25)
